AMBER'S AUTUMN

The amber and scarlett leaves of fall

float gently to the sidewalks,

dancing with the breeze,

whispering their goodbyes to the trees.

Tangerine ornaments

adorn the lawns,

in neighborhoods ablaze

with the baptism of autumn's days.

As the aromas of the harvest season's

infiltrate the crisp afternoons

with scents of pomegranates and pumpkin spice,

crimson red apples deliciously entice

one into forgetting a new seasons approach.
