I WILL LAY THEE DOWN

I shall lay thee down amongst the flowering fields,

and feel the warmth of thee upon my breasts,

and I shall kiss thy lips as gently

as the joyful tears that fall upon my face.

We shall touch with tender abandon

discovering each other's physical being,

as the earth becomes our cushion

and the wind caresses our naked bodies

with breezes of passion.

I shall surrender myself within thy care,

and find my strength in the power

with which thou body claims mine.

Openings never penetrated before

will shed love upon the ground,

and I shall feel thee inside of me

making me the carrier of thy seeds,

and if they shalt bloom inside of me,

I will be the protector of thine offspring.

I will thank thee for this rite of passage and for

the radiance that comes with the joining of hearts.

I shall freely venture forth into the realms of love

carrying thy fragrance deep within the center of me,

until once again I gather thee into my longing arms

and hold thee in the sweet aroma of surrender.
