IN MARJORIE'S MEMORY

Mommy.Midi

The car

blood filled white

was buckled.

The sarcophagus

colored rose

was closed.

The children

grief paled

were assembled.

The husband

blued and purpled

trembled.

The words

pastorial pastel

were spoken.

The misery

coal black

deepened.

The body

graying

was hidden,

and wore the only smile,

on what was once

a face.

A mother

A prism of life's beauties

still missed.

Time

colorless

has not lessened the pain.

In memory of Marjorie Kilzer

9-14-23 through 12-22-84

Forever Your Daughter,

Bobbie
