Hi.

My name-- or the name I shall use to refer to myself because my paranoia will allow nothing else-- is Deneys. You don't know me... but you will.
Okay, so what, I ripped off a Best Buy commercial. What's wrong with that? I got your attention, didn't I?
Anyway... Welcome to my lovely little corner of the WWWeb. It's not a palace but I'm still proud to call it home. As you might imagine, just like a regular home, there's lots of stuff here. Some of it may be inconsequential or unimportant to you. Most of it, actually. But you must think this site is worth a little time or you wouldn't have come in the first place. So look around. Me casa su casa, or however the hell you spell it. And most of all, enjoy!

In case those of you who frequent (and I use that term liberally) this page haven't noticed, I have completely reorganized everything. I have added things. I have not (to the best of my knowledge) taken anything away. I have tried to give you a more complete, more navigable site. I ask that, in return for the pouring of my heart and soul (and time) in these pages, only that you attract others to witness the torrents for themselves. In plain English, tell your friends! Publicity is much appreciated (though, not required, unfortunately enough for me).

Submitted for your pondering pleasure: [7/28/99] Okay, I've changed my mind. This page IS getting a makeover, as previously stated. It's no HUGE change, but it is considerable, and (so I think) for the better. I'm trying to make it more navigable and a little more visually interesting. You like? I don't care if you like!! Man, I've been watching too much TV lately... Anyway, there are a few new poems for you to enjoy till the unvailing of my Dream V 2.0. Have fun.

Calling All Writers! Calling All Writers!: Still hoping for work from other poets. Please, I beg you, if you can find it in your heart to allow your genius to be housed on such a humble page as this, send them to me. I have a few more wonderful poems, available here. Send me any comments and I'll be sure to send them on to the writers.

Okay, maybe "Cause" isn't quite the right word, but it still gets the point across. We, as human beings, are reactionary beings. We are subject to a million bombardments of literature, music, television, cinema, fashion, propoganda... And whether we like it or not, want to acknowledge it or not, we are all effected by these endless attacks on our senses, our psyche. In these subsequent pages I've tried to collect what has had the most profound effect on me, as well as reccomendations of what may have an agreeable effect on you.

Reading, Writing & Arithmetic
A list of and brief commentary on the writers whose works have impacted or helped define my life.
We are the music makers
You can write all you want, but you can't make me dance (or cry) till you set it to music. Check out a list of some of my favorite musicians and why I like 'em so darn much. I've even taken the liberty of supplying you with pages about a few bands I consider exceptional so you can decide for yourself.
Sight & Sound
Theatre: the only other medium of art that can make me cry. Take a look at a some of my favorite movies, plays, and TV shows.

All of these stimuli had to have produced something, right? I mean, you can't put fruit into a blender and get not expect it to get all chopped up. Wait a second, bad metaphor... But you get the idea. Well, the result of all that aforementioned fruit and other experiences can be found here.

Rhyme & Unreason
I love to write. Period. Nothing in my life is any simpler than that. Or, now that I really think about it, more complex. The applications and indications of words are so expansive... But that's another rant entirely. I'll let my writing speak for itself.
The Worlds Beyond
I know as well as you do (or at least I would hope as much) that my page is not the only one on the WWWeb. Here's an ever-expanding list of other sites I feel are worth your time.
Digital Inkblots
I've recently started dabbling in the digital arts. As the title implies, all my works are abstract, but they are original, and they can be used by other people on other pages. With certain conditions, of course.
