ABBEY
In Memorium Of Abbey Anne Densmore
born 15th March 1976
departed 16th March 1997
Age 21
I see her in my minds eye
A girl I once loved -- Now forever lost
I see her never knowing how she looked
The beautiful soul, my heart she took
I hear her voice echo in empty halls
Her laughter, her warmth and wisdom
I hear them, but know they are false
For the heart whence they came, lies still and cold
I smell her scent in the night breeze
More fragrant than the sweetest Jasmine
I know this, though she I have never seen
Her Purity radiates from a thousand suns within
I look to the stars, shining brighter than any night
I sit and stare, waiting for her light
I am angry tonight.... I shout and yell at Him
"Who gave you the right?"
But I calm down, know that somehow it must have been right
No more can I see you Abbey, no more dances at night
Never can we meet across the miles
Never will I see your sweet smile
I have no answers for what happened
No explanations can you get from me
The only thing I can console myself with is
Whatever will be will be

Abbey Anne Densmore
I had met Abbey on the Internet, and we became close
friends, sharing our thoughts, our feelings and fears despite never having
met and being half a world away. I knew her as Abbey Densmore, many of
her friends knew her as Abbey. In the short time that I knew her, she had
changed my life, taught me how to give and to care. In life she held down
3 jobs, she was a teacher's aide, she drove a school bus and ran a farm.
In addition to this she was studying to improve herself, having enrolled
in Community College. She was an amazing person who lived life to the fullest,
the type of person who was so full of life that accepting the fact that
she is gone forever will be difficult to those who knew her well. She was
the type of person who would wanted to do skydiving because she "wanted
to know how it would feel to jump out of a perfectly good plane" .
On the 16th March 1997 at 5:30 pm she was taken from us, in a car accident,
two cars in the the lane parallel to hers had a head on collision and both
cars smashed into her car. She died on the spot. Abbey was special to many
people and her memory shall never fade.....
