No More

(In Memorium Prof John  Bosco,  former head  of Medicine)

No more can we see him
This gem  plucked by the creator's  whim
Whose  dedication to this  noble  art
Placed  him a world  apart

No more  can we hear his  footsteps
No longer to  hear  his  joyous  voice
He inspired  a generation he taught
By the excellence  that he sought

No more  shall he raise his  hands  to  heal
Or to comfort the  dying   and the ill
This  great  man who  was  so much to many
Now  lies  silent and  still

He  passed  away suddenly  while  playing  tennis on  Sunday, 25th  April  1999  just months  before  he was  scheduled to  become  the Dean of the International Medical  University. He was  an amazingly dedicated teacher who loved  teaching, and  would  always  have a  few  students  around him  in  his  clinics or  during his rounds.
