1.Sailor Moon Christmas | Peach Hips | A really sweet and upbeat Christmas song ^_^ The girls sing in their character voices and each take a verse and then join in for the chorus. I love to hear Minako sing 'Atsu atsu atsu atsutsu! (hot, hot, hot, burning hot!)' Cool guitar and soft jingle bells add to the atmosphere. | 9 |
2.Golden Queen Galaxia | Horie Mitsuko
(Sailorgalaxtica) |
Absolutely wicked! This song sends chills down my spine every time I hear it. Heavy metal guitars, Latin piano, and Horie Mitsuko’s extremely haunting voice gives the song its wicked nature. | 10 |
3.Nagareboshi He | Three Lights | Hmm. I still can't decide with this song. I listen to it mainly for this weird horn intro (Ba . . . ba da da ba) This is elevator music, but it's not bad, there's just something about it that keeps it from being complete crap. Basic Three-Lights bass, sax and horns. | 7 |
4.Todokanu Omoi - My Friend's Love | Three Lights | And suddenly we are trown into a Miami Vice car chase!! This has the coolest disco guitar, keyboards, bongos, slap bass and horns! But it gets better! The chorus is amazing! Almost inspirational in contrast to the funky beginning, but some how it works | 10 |
5.Ginga Isshinbun Chigai Nakata Omoi | Niiyama Shiho (Sailorstarfighter) | One of my favorites : ) Sieya's voice is exceptional in this verrry smooth song. How could Usagi resist? Basic horns, bass, and other lounge type instruments. I love the acoustic guitar solo near the end. | 9 |
6.Chikara o Awasete | Tsunoda Narumi (Sailorstarmaker) | I'm sorry, Taiki, hun, I love you, but this song really bites. The vocals . . . ugh . . . the vocals, it sounds like he's (she's) sucking a Gobbstopper or trying to chew gum. The band’s cute, with lots of saucy horns. | 6 |
7.Mayou Naka Hitori | Sakamoto Chika (Sailorstarhealer) | This song is so . . . sassy. Nice piano and guitar; Yaten had a cute voice too ^_^ But, it seems to change to much, it doesn't have much of a pattern, it tends to ramble on. Not bad though. | 6 |
8.Initial U | Ooki Risa
(Sailoruranus, sort of) |
One of my favorite songs- Sailormoon and otherwise. It was the first Sailormoon song I had ever heard and I loved it. A very sophisticated song with beautiful piano and violin; you can just see Haruka singing in a smoky night club. Note--Ooki Risa sings 'Initial U' instead of my dear Ogata Megumi (Haruka's seiyuu), but she still sounds pretty much the same. | 10 |
9.Senshi no Omoi | Katsuki Masako (Sailorneptune) | Mysterious, beautiful and ethereal, this song is awesome. Every instrument is unique; they simply blend together beautifully. Michiru sings lower than in 'Unmei wa Utsukushiku' and I personally like this voice much better (she sound more like Megumi-san). | 10 |
10.Bye Bye tte Itta | Araki Kae
(Sailorchibimoon) |
Ahhh! Chibi Usa strikes again! And she surrounded by accompinied by a fiddle, banjo and even a slide whistle!! This song is a maaaaaaajor sugar rush, but it does express Chibi-Usa's personality to a tee. | 6 |
11.Honoo no Sogekimono Flame Sniper | Tomizawa Michie
(Sailormars) |
Have you ever wondered what would happen if Tomizawa Michie ever joined Iron Butterfly? This song is just as demented as Sho Hi Ai ~Fire Soul Love~, maybe even more. It includes English conversation, kick-ass initial feedback effect, and an awesome chorus. Vocals are a bit overdone in parts (eh em) | 9 |
12.Ashita mo Mata Jitensha | Hisakawa Aya
(Sailormercury) |
Sweet and cute, blah blah blah. Aya-san's vocals are so pretty, it's a shame no one felt the need to anything interesting with them. Strings, simple bass, not much else. It is a nice song though, don't get me wrong, it's just like every other Mercury song. | 8 |
13.We Believe You | Shinohara Emi
(Sailorjupiter) |
This song just blew me away--'We Believe You' is so extremely powerful- maybe even more so than Moon Revenge. Makoto's voice is so incredible. Words cannot describe the energy this song has. | 10 |
14.Ai no Megami no How to love | Fukami Rika
(Sailorvenus) |
Techno- Minako style! Upbeat, with synthesized instruments and attack phrases suddenly cried out . . . what more could you want? | 9 |
15.Ai o Shinjiteru | Mitsuishi Kotono
(Sailormoon) |
Excellent song. Almost a techno-ballad, if you will, heavy on the bass and keyboard. The background singers are a little scary though. There's a part where Usagi whispers 'justice' that just adds the perfect touch. | 9 |
16.Motto Suteki na Asa ga Kuruyo | Hanazawa Kae | You know, there just aren’t enough piano solos in music these days. Another upbeat ballad a la Star Song (it's the same vocalist as well) the beautiful keyboard and the bells are just the perfect touch to the wonderful melody. | 9 |
