Julie, I was quite impressed with you work. They have the serenity of an Andrew Wyeth painting. There is one of the new photographs that has such a strong Wyeth character. The light penetrating the the window also creates a Caravaggesque chiaroscuro that was forced to sign your guestbook to compliment you.

I am aa amateur watercolour painter myself. I liked your subject but they seem to me not souple, free enough. There is only one A.Wyeth. Personnaly I like more Turner late watercolour sketches, or Sargent ones. Both of them were XIX century painters but very in advance by some aspects of their watercolours. Good luck on your search.
