Some thoughts about the best characters of XWP:

XENA=will and desire

M'LILA=practical and sublime use of will and desire

LAO MA= subordination of will and desire to a greater good

GABRIELLE= the greater good (until this season!)

To Conquer Others is to Have Power
To Conquer Yourself is to Know the Way
To Know the Way is to RULE THE JUNGLE!
