Just curious to know where you guys & gals live. Nothing specific - just wondering in which state or country you reside.
I live in Houston, Texas. And we are right proud of our own larger-than-life native daughter, Renee' O'Connor.
Yeeeeeee-hawwwww!

I know - can you believe L.A. and Houston? Pitiful.
I think the "Tennessee Twangers" would be a good name for them, since they now hang their helmets in Nashville. Remember the George Strait song "All My ex's live in Texas" ?
"All my ex's live in Texas-
And Texas is a place I'd really love to be.
But all my ex's live in Texas,
Therefore I reside in Tennessee."

It might interest you to know (that is, if you don't know already) that ROC might make an apperance in a Creation Convention at either Houston or Austin, Texas in October. This according to Sharon Delaney at the Phoenix Con. (I read that at the WHOOSH web site). But nothing is set in stone yet.You might get a chance to meet her (if you haven't already). But I won't be jealous (sniffle) or envious (grrr). I'll just have to resign myself that she'll never come within a thousand miles of Richmond. :(

> > > One piece of advice I would like to give you, though; BEWARE the traffic in Washington, D.C.. There is an old joke about the traffic being the same as long-term politicians there; once you get into Wasington, you never leave. It's not so much the traffic. Most cities (like Houston) have traffic problems. What's really the problem is the traffic patterns. They're so stupid and utterly confusing (just like Congress and the White House eh?) that it is easy to end up in circles. You might want to take the train in and out of Washington. Just thought I'd warn you.

He will be driving, so yes, I do want to take the train! He gets lost all the time, and of course, would rather die than ask for directions! (I don't have to worry about him reading this and getting mad at me, because he doesn't read this kind of stuff. He thinks XWP and HTLJ are "stupid" shows. (Except when Callisto is on screen and he begins drooling). Well, we won't have to worry about that anymore, will we? So anyway, make sure Virginia has good weather in 2 weeks, OK? (ha!)

> As far as the weather goes-- well, we had severe storms here the last couple of days.We had a tornado go through a county north of Richmond Sat.. We had a tornado warning here in the city yesterday, but no twister materialized. Actually, twisters are rare for Virginia. The good news for you is maybe we are getting bad weather now and it will be nice for your trip. But no promises. I'm the God of War; not the God of Weather. ;-)

I did not know that was why that NFL team is called the Ravens! I can't believe those "dumb jocks" adopted a name derived from great American literature. Will wonders never cease? BTW, love your last Poe quote about Callisto! She would have made a good subject for Poe's writings. Talk about insanity and terror! I have a good idea for a story. Remember how stones were always falling on her and burying her?
"The Fall of the House of Callisto." Whaddayathink?
