You've all hit on some fabulous points! :) My major contention as an EXTREME flove sufferer(oh,
what sweet suffering ;p)has also been mentioned a bit, and I'm so glad y'all get it. Those who
have never experienced it are wont to scoff at us, as if we CANNOT tell the difference between
the character and actress. Well, now, I suppose there are those who can't...but it's easy to get
carried away. I don't mean to get defensive, but it's on all our accounts, as flovers.;) Some
of you hit it right on. We do love the actresses to some degree(some more, some less) for giving
us the character, if nothing else. Face it, the character would not be who they are and who we
know and love, if not for what the actress puts into them. And just consider that these
actresses were not forced into these parts. They chose and pursued them. They continue, develop,
nurture them. They are them to a degree, however small, still inalienable. Yes, these women are
real people, who we (to our eternal dismay) do not truly know, but what we know of them through
these characters they have brought to life, we love. Maybe that's the secret to flove. It's love
for fictional characters, but also for the real people who breathe life into them. Shoot, I love
everyone and everything in the Xenaverse for being a part of it. I even love the plants X and G
trample as they ramble along. Yes, I'm a little obsessed, but in a healthy way. (I'm not a
stalker, either. ;}) My point applies, though. If we seemed confused about our feelings toward
these women, it's an honest confusion, due to a unique relationship with them. But, whether I
really know them or not, I do love what I know of them. If that makes me crazy, that's fine with
me. Ignorance is bliss? ;}
Battle on, fellow Xenites!
