What I "like" about Xena...

(ritar) writes: Hawk, we share similiar views. With so much bashing about shows, we need to remember why we watch the show and enjoy it. We also must remember that the show is practically brand new and it must go through its growing pains too. The actors need to grow, which I believe they have, but without a great script, you have nothing. I also think that the relationship with Gab & Xena is exploiting lesbians, just so ratings will stay up. But, not everyone is a lesbian that watches the show, so I fear some of the audience might decide not to watch. And what about the younger generation (kids) will they want to watch or be turned away. And do the actors really need to exploit a certain group to enhance their careers? BRING BACK THE KICK-ASS FORMULA. I enjoy the stunts too much. Special effects are good, but they do take away from the story line.
