Gabrielle Owes Ephiny an Apology

Is there anyone else out there who feels that there are unresolved issues between Gabrielle and Ephiny??? In "Maternal Instincts" Gabby only gives Eph half the story of the birth of Hope. A true lie by omission. And when Hope is killed Eph assumes that Gabby is devistated because she lost a child. There is so much more to it than that. And because she doesn't really know what's going on, Eph puts her life on the line to protect Gabby when a crazed Xena attacks the Amazon village looking for Gabby. I think somebody owes Ephiny a lengthy explanation and some heavy duty apologizing. Where was Ephiny when they were working through their indiscretions in Illusia???
