Sin Trade Pt.2 made me feel sucidal

I was finally able to watch my tape of "Adventures of the Sin Trade" part 2 today. It depressed me. The reason why is because of the scenes of Xena's future. It implies that her and Gabrielle will die a terrible death together. I was hoping when the end of the series came, Xena would have found peace and total happiness in her life. But if her future is going to turn out the way it was revealed, it will not be a happy one. I cannot really tell if this future was the real ending, or a ending that COULD happen if their lives went down a wrong path. Perhaps now that Xena (somewhat) knows what will happen to her and Gabrielle in the future, she will prevent it. Anyway, the more I think about it, the more I want to blow my head off.
