So what did she mean by that? That it couldn't be the Elysian fields since only "dead naked heroes" go there and Joxer was there?

Of all the things one can say about Joxer, all the things he is or isn't, one thing he definitely isn't (any more) is a coward. When was the last time we saw him back down from a fight, especially when it involved standing up for Gabby.

His character began as acting like "Joxer the mighty", but in reality, he would shy away from danger. But now, the irony is merely in the fact that he seldom triumphs, though he often tells it differently. But he no longer runs from danger. Whatever he ain't, he IS a good guy with heart.

If he's not destined for the Elysian fields, I don't know who is.
