of the matter is that Xena and Gabrielle are WHATEVER the writers decide they are at any a given moment in any any given episode!

They write the characters BOTH ways to not only APPEAL to both sides but to PLAY BOTH SIDES AGAINST THE OTHER thus KEEPING VIEWER INTEREST HIGH! (The Ratings Game!)

Is this difficult to accept/comprehend/live with?
