Statements of Faith + Disclaimers

There has been much *mystery* surrounding my role whenever I use this
handle. It seems that I am constantly having to explain my motives.
Let me clarify a few things. This is straight from my own fingers, so
don't prejudge me based on the impressions of other Forum members.
Forget what you *thought* I stood for, the rumors, and the gossip.

I use this handle whenever I see chat posts and TOAD posts. What's my
beef with chat posts? I've lurked among them and A LOT of things said
have references to SEX and CASUAL DRINKING. (BB's nipple-clamp joke
literally made me cringe.) Which is the chatters' business, but, WAKEUP,
there ARE a lot of minors here!!! (see below for TOAD definition)

There are a LOT of people here who are offended by my handle. They've
had BAD experiences with cops and I'm here to say that I've had them
too. BUT there are good policemen and bad policemen. Our armed forces
ARE global "cops." But don't judge me based on YOUR bad experiences.

For those of you who think I am picking on TC, let me say that this is
BEYOND her. I wouldn't even have this handle if it was just about her.

I've been accused of stalking. HUH? Everyone who replies to ANY post
is a stalker. When I show up in a "private" chatline, other Xenites
SUDDENLY appear. My question is: HOW DID YOU EVEN KNOW I WAS LURKING
IN A *PRIVATE* CHATLINE IF *YOU* WEREN'T THERE??! :)

For the Newbies: I WELCOME YOU HERE! IT'S BOLD OF YOU TO EVEN
ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU'RE A XENITE. No, I'm not a censor from Universal
Studios [yet, :)] So don't be scared. There are enough "wolves" here
on the Forum. Heh heh.

These are my *suggestions* (not rules, remember that!)

Out of respect, I simply REQUEST (not force) that everyone help
maintain the "clean" atmosphere here. Hey, this is OUR forum, not
mine, as many think I believe. If you use a cuss word, profanity, or
expletive, PLEASE use the "*" symbol for MOST of the letters.

I think the "rating" system is a good idea. When you see my handle
under a user's name, YOU will know that you are entering questionable
territory. I may or may not actually write a response every time I
reply. (Did I ASK for your help you might ask?) Nope. But I'm
glad to serve my fellow Xenites anyway. (So you ARE my bro, Zwolf.) :)

Also, please respond to as many posts as possible. (You can skip
mine. No jokes, please!)

I will devise a WEEKLY most-wanted list for repeat offenders. This
will be a PUBLIC POST and DO NOT reply. I know I sound ridiculous,
but this is for everyone's benefit. Offenders AND their offenses will
be posted. BUT IT'S *YOUR* DECISION IF YOU STILL WANT TO
READ THEIR POSTS. <I can't stop you.>

This a TOAD. Of the class Bufo Bufo, these people accuse other
Xenites of being "trolls." Avoid them. If I use the "TOAD" symbol,
it means that Xenite is guilty of breaking my *suggestion*
(did I say rule?, nope) :)

Disclaimer: I'm a twenty-something female who likes EVERYBODY, but
not everybody's behavior. I am not a prude. I WILL NOT respond to
anyone who makes sex jokes or any flames. Since I'm not omnipresent,
I need your help, Xenites. If you are chatting (by the gods, no!) and
someone ignores my suggestions, you can say, "Hey Leroy/Chang/Bubba,
lay off the cuss words!" Or, "Look, Sally/Prunella, I don't like
doing those things, shut up!" It's OK to disagree with somebody
(even me). See, everybody can be a GOOD cop. Be that standard, WHO
KNOWS how many policemen are on the Forum and just need to see a GOOD example.
And oh yeah, I'M not a real policewoman.
