ODE TO FORUM POLICE

Well isn’t this your lucky day
You get a poem from me!
I skipped the one for laundry, eh?
And wrote this one with glee!

It’s funny what inspires you
I’ve found none for a while.
But you, FP have managed to
Amuse me with your style.

Your forum cop approach sure lacks
Any kind of sense.
You post to people without tact
And hang us on the fence!

You have this list of rules, you say
Will make this forum better.
But only *you* can call the play
Or you write us a letter!

Then those of us who like to chat
End up on a list.
We just should not be doing that
Or else you will get pissed!

Oh yeah, I cursed, shame-shame on me
A bad word, yes it is!
Oh damn! I’ve had a drink you see
And it had no fizz!

And now when this poem is done
My good friends will reply
And make long threads because my fun
Just poked you in the eye!

Now if you know me, you know that
Rhyming is my thing
And I can rhyme you into shame
Without a curse to fling!
