I am probably going to get blasted into next week for this, so here is a disclaimer - I love XENA. No Xena's are intentionally
being harmed during the making of this post.
However. However, it really is just a TV show and it was made for us to enjoy, not cut up into 3,000,000
bite sized pieces. It's fun to watch and just as fun to discuss, but when it comes down to it, it doesn't have
to make complete sense for us to love it, right? Inconsistencies make it interesting. The people making the show have
less time than we do to watch and re-watch episodes looking for every subtle sign. I think, for the most part
they don't exist. I think if the writers/producers, etc. want us to know somthing, they tell us. I doubt
they are playing mind games with us. They get an idea, wrote an episode, film an episode and move on.
That said, I do think Lucy Lawless is brilliant and Renee O'Connor is not too far behind. The show is wonderful and fun
and I hope it stays that way.
