oh! THEY ARE!

are they aren't they
does anyone care
if our poor heroines
are left unaware

of the loverly picture
they pose in the mind
of the boys an' the girls
who clock cybertime

oh yes i know...it's just
a show and they aren't really
real..but reel to reel~
doncha know

but nevertheless the debate
rages on are they
or aren't they
the quest lingers long

do tptb want
us to see a forbidden
love at Xena's
leatherclad knee

i think i know...i got it
...it's easy~ just look
at the boys the weak
an' the sleazy

our heroines lovers should
be mighty an fine but instead
they're left with the dregs that
only look good~ at closin' time

an oh we do shudder to
think in the mornin's
light our lavender ladies
should greet such a sight

now don't it make sense
don't you agree they'd
give our girls some real
hunks to set 'em free

but since they don't n'
the future looks grim
i say raise the subtext
and let's all have a swim!
