Like a ray of sunshine
filtering through darkened clouds
you touched me
and I felt your warmth

your want...
to my very soul...

Your love is as refreshing
as a waterfall
on a hot summer's day
as peaceful as a gentle breeze
that surrounds me...
envelops me...
in it's warmth...

Like the melodious
sing-song of birds in spring
your voice fills me with joy
and I relish it...
live to hear it...
desire it everyday of my life...

But
when we are apart
my world grows dark and lonely...
silent and cold...

I can feel that part of me
that is you
shrivel and die
and I am no more
until once again
we are joined...
