Cagney and Lacey Connection

In the post about casting X:WP, someone talked about Sharon Gless. I was and still am a big fan of Cagney and Lacey. Sharon Gless and ROC remind me of each other. They both can do comedy and/or drama. Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone noticed who played Hera on Herc the other week. It was Meg Foster who played Cagney for the first season of the series. (Loretta Switt played Cagney in the tv movie, but declined to do another series after being in MASH for so long.) The reason Sharon Gless became Cagney is because Meg Foster got fired for being too masculine. I don't even know what kind of commentary to put on that now, but I do remember it made quite an impression on a 17 year old.

If anyone still believes that Gabby was adopted, let's cast Cheryl Ladd as her real mother. I always thought she would be a nice person. (Hey, reminds me of ROC!)
