Continuity, Possibly A Way To Fix..

In one of the Herc episodes (sorry I can't remember the name) he helps this blind guy look for his sister. They were separated as kids when their parents were killed. A band of Amazons raided and killed everyone in the village except for the little girls. They took them and raised them as Amazons. The Amazons kicked some butt in that show. Funny the writers tried to have them kick Herc's butt too but, as we know, that can't be done. They did give him a run for his money though. I thought it was a good fight scene. Did you see it?
Now they show the Amazons as more of a peace loving tribe of women who only fight when Xena or Gab needs them. I'd like to see if they would fight with Xena now (since she broke Ephiny's arm). Probably would. I don't think the writers will address the issue but what would a couple of lines hurt when the occasion arises?
