Hi, kimmichelle
Potidaea is located in upper Greece, maybe not even considered greece but thought of as backwater to the cultured Athenians (as Macedonia was thought 'backwards' and barbaric). It's pretty close to Amphipolis tho just a little further south. Athens is way, way south of both those places. Potidaea and Amphipolis were once conquered and manipulated by Philip of Macedon, Alexander the GreaT'S father. If you look at a map of greece, Potidaea is on the inner penninsula of three peninsula's, they look like three fingers jutting out in the Aegean sea.
I hope that helps and good luck on your story!
