It's So Easy To Dump On Universal..

I wanted to drop a couple of thoughts here regarding the Universal webmasters and there seeming lack of response. Maybe you are right and they don't care. They certainly have very poor PR.

However, I've worked with computers, in a large computer installation both as a scheduler and as a computer programmer and I know how time consuming fixing a problem is. Hell, in my time I've made big goofs and CAUSED them. One of those errors kept my state government's computer down for 3 days.

I have a lot of sympathy for the people who work behind the scenes. I don't know what kind of tools they have to keep trolls out, but if it has to be custom written, it could take more than a day to get it working right (like engineers, they have to test).

So all I'm saying is, yes complain, but keep in mind there may be more than just rudeness going on here. At least give these guys the benefit of the doubt.
