*****BO'B FanFiction--Part 2*****

Hello again!

Still waiting to get all the votes in on part 1, but I figured I should go ahead and post this anyway. Enjoy (I hope)!

KoolKat confronted Xena5 the next morning as soon as she emerged from her cabin with a wide grin lighting her face. "What were you doing talking to Ares yesterday?"
"Nothing important."
"So what about the kissing? And I assume the two of you went
to your cabin after you disappeared."
"You assume correctly."
"He wants you back at the temple, doesn't he?"
Xena5 suddenly regretted telling her friend about the year spent
at Ares's Temple. "Yes, he does."
"But you aren't going, right?"
"No," she hoped KoolKat hadn't noticed her hesitation, "of
course not."
Eying Xena5 suspiciously, KoolKat nodded approval of the reply. "Good. Now that I've found some good friends, I don't wanna lose 'em."
"Me neither."

* * * * *

Xena5 knocked smartly on BFC Ciekan's cabin door. Come in," the first mate called.
"Sorry to interrupt."
"You're not interrupting anything important. I'm just looking over some maps, trying to find the best way to New Xenaland. what's on your mind?"
"I, uh, saw Ares the other day . . ."
Ciekan's head snapped up. "Ares?"
"Yes. I . . . I could use a little advice."
"Alright. What's the problem?"
"Ares took you to his temple once. You know what it's like to be with him. How did you keep yourself from giving in to what he wanted?
"I didn't have to, really. He allowed me to stay here without much of a fight."
"Oh."
"Why? What did he want?"
"He wanted me to come back to his temple. I sort of want to go.
I miss being with him, and I miss the other priestesses, but . . . I don't want to leave the BO'B and all the friends I have here."
The first mate sighed heavily. "I can understand wanting to be with Ares. He's a very seductive man. Personally, I'd hate to see
you go. You're a heard worker, and the crew seems to like you."
"And I like them! Last night just reminded me what I've been missing."
"Last night?" Ciekan arched an eyebrow.
Turning a brilliant crimson, Xena5 nodded. "Ares spent the night in my cabin."
"I can see why you're having so much trouble deciding what to do, then. A night with him could confuse anybody!"
"I know, but I just can't get him out of my mind. I keep remembering my time at the Temple, my time with Ares."
"Who else in the crew knows you used to be Livia?"
"KoolKat, Willow, and Pan."
"You should talk to them as well. And Macer might have a few suggestions."
Xena5 shook her head helplessly. "No . . . I already told KoolKat
I wouldn't go back to the temple."
You should have told her the truth." The swabbie could feel her commander's disapproving gaze boring holes through her lowered eyelids. "I know. Maybe I'll go talk to her now."
"That's a good idea." Ciekan laid one calloused hand on
Xena5's shoulder, and the younger woman looked up at the BFC. "Don't forget what I told you; you'll always be welcome here."
"Thank you, Cmdr."
"Anytime, Xena5."
