Conviction Of The ~~ HEART ~~

Where are the dreams we once had?
This is the time to bring them back

Do we forget or forgive?

To talk with CONVICTION OF THE HEART...

Is this Xena related? Well..in my mind anything
that has to do with Faith...Spirit...and Love...
these days...definitely relates to our heros...*G*

Xena stands beside Alti. Snow laden landscape.
In Xena's eyes I see...Conviction of the Heart.
Fists clenched...lips pierced...eyes squinting.

What is it to possess a Conviction of the Heart?
Where does it come from and why? Is it Fear or
is it Love that makes us decide? And HOW do
you HOLD ON to that Conviction of the Heart?

I chose a path four years ago...I had a
Conviction of the Heart. Like Xena..I stood
strong...determined...fists clenched...lips
pierced...and eyes unwavering. I made the
decision. I trusted. I had faith. I followed
my heart. And I knew that decision would eventually
take me where I needed to go....and no matter what...
I would NEVER give up on following my Dream. My
Dream was....to fly.....I now fly.

But, this dream is not complete. Now, four years later
there is much more to do....and I no longer talk with
Conviction of the Heart. You all know me fairly well
by now....I don't give up and I never quit....but...
where's that Conviction of the Heart? My fists no
longer remain clenched. My eyes?...well...they're
tired rather than focused unrelentingly on my Destiny.

What keeps a soul moving forward when their entire being
wants to quit? *Something* keeps them going....but what?
Inspiration? The Will to Live? And if it is the Will to
Live...should one think of following their heart as a
life and death situation. Because without that....
following your hearts desire....is there truly any life
worth living?

Tell me Warrior Woman...what is it that keeps your
conviction strong? Is it Faith? Is it Anger.
Is it Love? Or is it Fear? You've been ripped
a part this year...and your're still standing. Why?

So..yes...this is an odd post...but I just wondered...
what *is* it that KEEPS a Conviction of the Heart
Strong? Anybody know?...*G*
