The longing to Be.
To be free.
To be more.
To be able to Soar.
The desire of belonging.
If only I could go through the opening.

My extensive use of various additives in this acrylic painting give 
a heavily textured feel and added depth. I wish the viewer to feel 
on 'the other side.'

Sculpted paint give form to the wall, vines, cliff and bird. Bead 
additive in the abstracted leaves on the wall give an impression of 
bumps found on frogs. Interference colors 'color flip' adding to the 
illusion of moonlight.
