Okay, this is everybody's favorite part of the webpage, maybe because it's usually the only one I update. These are all sketches that I've done in the past year or so. Most of these are in black and white for now, but I'll be scanning some colored images soon, so check back for updates. To view these images, just click on the thumbnails below. Commentary on each piece is numbered accordingly at the bottom of the page. Please bear with this page, it takes a long time to load, but it's worth it.
If you like my drawings, want to use one as a wallpaper, but just can't decide which one to use, then use the nifty wallpaper that I've put together. I'm really glad that some of you deem me desktop worthy, but please don't plagerize! Thanks.

For more information about these drawings, read the commentary provided down below. It's important that you read these, because there's a story behind every one of them :). Each commentary is numbered in accordance with the picture it describes.
- This is a picture I drew of Adrenalynn, from the Tenth. This is not one of my original works; I copied this drawing from one of the comic books, and inked it myself. I really like this drawing, but artist's code of ethics keeps me from being truly proud of it, so oh well :)
-
This is my picture of Esperanza (Espy) from the Tenth as well as the Tenth (Victor)himself. They are the two main characters of the comic book. This is an original picture, meaning I made everything up but the characters themselves. People seem to like this one alot, I think it's okay but I really need to work on drawing guys, don't I.
-
This is an unfinished sketch I drew of Witchblade, which is another comic book I like. The original I think was drawn by Mike Turner, so yes, this one's not original, in fact it's the picture on the Witchblade Origins Special. I never got to finish this drawing, but I will someday, unless I've lost it.
-
This is the first picture that I used to experiment with the scanner and coloring on the computer, this one's not an original either, it's a picture of Scud that's on one of the trade paperbacks. I never drew Scud before, and this style is very different from the one I'm used to.... so.. applaud me
-
This is the first picture I drew of Fairchild, from Gen-13. The first thing that seems to come to mind when other people see this one is "damn, her calves are really big", which is kind of annoying on my part. I really think that this one is good, I like the way her face looks, and this was my first original, non- Sailor Moon-like drawing
-
This is an original I drew of Sarah Rainmaker, from Gen-13. I like the way I did her face on this one, but I'm not too happy with the hands. This one was a quicky- I did it in about fifteen minutes and scanned it right away. It's pretty good, but it's not particularly spectacular.
-
This is the same drawing as number four, only without color. I decided that since Scud is originally a black and white comic book, that you should see him in black and white, it kind of adds to the whole "pop art" look he has.
-
This is the first Gen-13 picture I drew, of Freefall (Roxy Spaulding) my favorite character. Okay, this one's sort of embarrassing..:) I was really trying to embrace the whole J. Scott Cambpell comic book outrageous kind of style, and I guess I got a little carried away and drew a
nipple! John really likes this one though, and, well, he's the comic book expert so whatever. I don't particularly like this one.
-
This is a picture I drew which is completely original, I made the character up myself, and she hasn't officially been named yet, but I just call her Journey (why? because when I was drawing her i was listening to Poe, and Angry Johnny sounds alot like "Angry Journey" and..uh..she's kinda angry.... well that's not the point. Point is, I really like this drawing, cuz she kinda reminds me of me (does that make sense?)
-
This is the second drawing of Fairchild that I drew, shortly after the first one. We were at a Texas Rangers game, and because I have some sort of curse over the team, they seem to lose pathetically every time I attend one. This particular game wasn't even worth watching so I took out my sketchbook and whipped out this picture real fast around the fifth inning. It's okay, I don't think this position is gravitationally possible, but hey, it's something for you to try out when you're bored.
-
This is the second drawing I did of my character, Journey I think the day after I drew the first one. I don't really like this one, and I like it even less everytime I look at it, because it's really obvious in this one that I always draw arms too long. Well... so what! She has a big gun. And that makes everything alright.
-
This is the second drawing I did of Freefall, my favorite Gen-13 character. Everyone who looks at this always says, Josephine, she looks pretty skanky. Yeah well, I think this one's pretty good. I like the character this drawing has, and who cares if her left foot is nonexistent?
-
This is my most recent drawing I did of Roxy from Gen-13. I decided if i want to get any better I need to get out of my safety net and explore different view perspectives. So this one's kind of..uh... sorta "up". Yes. That's right. Anyway, it was refreshing to get drawing again.
-
This is my new most recent drawing, of Adrenalynn. The story behind this is that it's not really recent, because I started it a long time ago, but I was cleaning my room yesterday and I found it so I finished it today. The reason this little school girl can carry weight in such an awkward position is because she's an android. Yes. That's my excuse.
-
This is a new character, from the DV8 comic book. Her name is Sublime, and basically I just like her because she wears blue lipstick like me. I think this drawing is pretty good, and frankly I'm quite proud of it. If you don't like it, then e-mail me and I'll chew you out.
-
This is my most recent drawing so far, its a self portrait I did as a school assignment. I did it in about four days so I could get on with a painting I'm doing independently. This is charcoal on paper.
-
This is a drawing I did as part of a perspective exercise at school; we were supposed to find a "corner" on campus and draw it. This one is about four times as larger as my self portrait. Its also charcoal on paper.
-
This is a drawing I did of Dr. Spock and a child. This one was very quick, I did it in about two hours. Its graphite (pencil) on paper.
-
This is a drawing I did of one of the Summerbridge teachers, Chen He. It's pretty cool. I decided to pull out my sketchbook and play with the color scanner.
-
This is a drawing I did a while ago of Spiderman. It's pretty cool. Same sketchbook, same story.
-
This is a drawing I did over the summer while I was teaching of Roxy and Sarah from Gen-13. I color scanned it on the computer at school.
-
This is a drawing of my favorite Soul Calibur character, Xianghua. I drew it while my brother was playing it on Dreamcast. I did this one completely in pen, which means no erasing so I'm quite happy with the way it turned out.
-
This is a drawing I did of one of the Danger Girls, Abbey Chase. Danger Girl is a comic book made by J. Scott Campbell, my favorite comic book artist who started Gen-13. I figured I should start out with some new faces so I tried drawing Abbey, and here she is.
-
This is a drawing I did especially for a fan site called Adrenalynn-dot-net That found my website and asked for some drawings. It's a tough pose. I decided I needed to learn some different poses... that's that tought part after all.
- This is a drawing of the same character as the one before this one, Adrenalynn. I really like this drawing, its of a pose I've been working on for quite a while, a tough one to pull off without it looking horribly awkward and impossible, so I'm pretty proud of it.
- Okay, yeah, I know, Adrenalynn again. I think this one will have a colored version soon.
- Finally, a new picture of Roxy. This one will be submitted to the Gen-13 Fansite so check there to download.
- Okay! Here's the long awaited colored version of my Addrenalynn picture. Turns out the guy who colored it works for DC as a professional colorist (I am SO lucky) named Darrin Moore and not only is he amazing, but he's also really nice.
-
A new drawing of one of my favorite characters that I never got a chance to draw, Sydney Savage from Dangergirl. She is really cool, but John said I drew the hand deformed (sorry!)
- A new picture drawn the same day as the Sydney one (I'm on a roll!) of Roxy in a rather unlay-like position hitch hiking. Perhaps one day I'll stop being lazy and start drawing backgrounds. But I've always been extremely lazy when it comes to straight lines, and other boring things of the sort...
- Okay, so I haven't put a new picture on here in a long time, yeah, I'm still drawing, but I hate my scanner to I rarely put things on my site anymore. I am, however creating a new site (which deems me hypocritical of everything previously said) solely for my art work. This here is a picture of Adrenalynn, inspired by seeing all the updates on adrenalynn.net. I think it's a lot like my sublime one.

The imagemap on the main page of this site was also drawn by me. I drew each of the characters and parts seperately and then colored and arranged them on the computer. I really think I did a good job on those.
