Yes folks there is a new kid on the block.Just recently put out on the stands(8-3-98) it's Spider-girl.So wanna here the story? Ok but be warned if you plan on buying the book reading any futher will ruin the whole thing for ya and I recommend buying it. The story starts with our heroine May "Mayday" Parker playing basketball for her school's team,she gets the ball and slam dunks it,meanwhile her parents Peter and Mary Jane watch in shock and disbelief.Could thier little girl have been born with Peter's spider like powers?While walking home from the game with two of her friends may feels a strange sensation and pushes her two friends out of harms way from a pumpkin bomb.It appears the Green Goblin is also very much alive and wants to meet Peter for some unfinished business. Back at the Parker residence we find Pete and Mary Jane discussing whether they should have told thier daughter about dear old dad's past profession and how he got that wooden leg.Our lovely heroine over hears this conversation and so the next day while dad is out trying to get some help for his confrontation with a guy he thought was dead May decides to see test out her new powers at the gym.The time comes for Peter and the Goblin to meet.While a little mother and daughter talk is taking place in another part of town.It is during this time all is revealed and our heroine is born of sorts.While Peter and the Goblin are beginning to battle Mary Jane arrives and then our heroine makes her grand entrance,with a kick to the face for our bad guy.After fighting one another for sometime our heroine defeats the Goblin and off he goes to jail. Ok here's the newest story from issue #1. May has a problem,not only did she learn about her father's past but now her own spider-powers have emerged.So what does she do now? Does she continue the family "business" or concentrate on high school? Peter and Mary Jane have made it clear that they do not want her to be a superhero.But May like most teenagers do what they want anyway espically if the parents are againest it.And she could be her father's only hope againest the new super-villain Mr.Nobody,a gun toting teleporter who reports to a certain "large" crime boss.Well that's all foe now.

Normie Osborn-Son of Harry Osborn,who now has taken over the role of the Green Goblin.Wants revenge againest Spider-man for killing his grandfather Norman and his father.

Ok,I know these aren't the best descriptions.But it's a brand new comic so, as I learn more I'll add to them and hopefully they'll get better.Thanks!
