Life Is To Short
A LESSON LEARNED
On a whispering evening sunset,
my mind remembers what I had tried so hard to forget.
All of my imperfect ways which had burdened me so,
that I found were perfections for in Gods eyes I shall grow.
Realizing that I'm exactly where I need to be
and all of those past mistakes are no longer mistakes to me
For everything happens in Gods world for a reason
and every lesson learned is in season.
Each tear cried out falls in place
and each hard look shows a confused face.
Wondering why has misery knocked at my door,
or what my life is purposed for.
For God sees the whole picture and I only what's in front
So I must step out on faith and continue my hunt.
Hunting , seeking and looking for Gods word,
for to blindly do my own will is totally absurd.
As Long as I seek guidance from my Father above,
I'll have all of everything of which I'm in need of.
But yet my wants must be put aside so as to do His Will,
for a carnal life shall cast my life off of the window sill.
So staying in Godly things and not material possessions
is wise, because worldly things become obsessions.
Things of this world cannot be taken beyond,
for they are as temporary as fish in a pond.
It soon dies and takes nothing where ever it may go,
Only our souls depart from here so that we can grow.
Growing past this life and on into Heaven above,
but only if I shower others down here with Gods love.
I must not keep silent, I must speak the words God has put in my heart,
because if I were to keep it to myself to Hell my soul would depart.
So I shall continue to speak the words that God puts on my tongue
and seeking out those which are young.
BecauseI fear for so many that are from which I came,
knowing that my life as theirs was one of the same.
I feel the hurt and confusion when I look into their eyes,
because they as I once was are full of so many lies.
I tell them of how they can turn their lives around,
by holding fast to God He shows you solid ground.
And as solid ground prevails there is no more despair,
because they'll find out like I did that God does care.
He forgives all that is done if sincerity is in your heart,
and He allows you like me to make a brand new start.
