"Untitled"©

Tearstained cheeks and weary eyes, feelings of utter confusion,
You ask me now, for what is wrong, words have been misusen.

I try to explain, it all sounds wrong, but yet its I who suffer,
You turn away, you say I lie, my pain is what I discover.

Tired and broken, I turn away, shame's upon my face,
You cut me down, call me names, you say I'm in my place
.
What hurts more, your words of hate, or just a cold stone stare?,
You walk on by, without a blink,I see you no longer care.

You rip me apart, gnash at my soul, crush my inner being,
But you do it with words, do it with stares, please just tell me I'm dreaming.

I can no longer fight, my body's dead, you have won this war,
I will be reborn, life renewed, as I've done before.

You no longer matter, no part of my life, YOU are in my past,
I am my own, not torn nor lifeless, I am ONE at last.
