Once Upon a time there was a girl named Lyddy. She lived in a far off land where no one had a mind of their own. Except her. When someone saw something different they were scared and made fun of it. No one cared, because no one felt anything. Except her. One day while Lyddy was walking down the street she saw a boy lying on the grass obviously in great pain.
"Can I help you?" she asked the boy.
"My leg...no one seems to care...I think it's broken!" the boy whimpered.
And it was. Lyddy carried the boy on her back all the way home and then nursed him to health.
"All better?" she asked a few days later.
"Thank you" the boy replied, "you were the only one who stopped to help"
Lyddy was very curious.
"No one else wanted to help?" she asked
"No one knew how it felt to be all alone and in pain" the boy said slowly getting up, "They don't know how it feels to be unable to help yourself."
So Lyddy got an idea. That night she burned down all the houses on the left side of the town leaving only half the town alive. The people felt pain and then lived happily ever after.
