A Born-Again Kids in the Hall Fan

I remember quite clearly I devoted my Friday nights to it. Yes, I was a bit young, and it was awful late to stay awake for an 11 year old, but I was hooked. Quite honestly I found it very dark, but I suppose compared to the Friday night line-up (which I remember vaguely to include The Simpsons, Full Hose, Family Matters, Perfect Stranger, etc.) it was. No I am not speaking of the Twilight Zone or the X-Files or any other show like that, I am speaking of Toronto’s very own Kids in the Hall. I guess it was around this time they either ceased to air the show or I had discovered something called "friendship" and "get-togethers" and I stopped watching it. From that I kept a special place in my heart for my favorite late-night show and fond memories of the time I had watching it. Recently the Kids in the Hall began being shown on the Comedy Network (one of those new channels). I am become a born- again Kids in the Hall fan. All my memories have come back to me: my fear of the Chicken Lady, my pre-pubescent crush on Bruce McColluch, and my general love for the entire show.

I was lost and now I have been found. I had died and now I have been born again.
