It's your TV, your radio, your magazines and your Internet,
It's one big fat capitalist parade,
It's people trying to sell you something that you don't need, or even want,
It's you and me and everyone buying into it,
It's what makes stars/bands/artists or breaks them,
It's what tells us how we should be acting and behaving,
It's everything stereotyped and trashed all at once,
It's being fed twisted morals in pretty packages,
It's an entertaining way of warping our minds beyond recognition,
It's the only way Canadian's are at the mercy of the Americans,
It's evil..
Yea, so I know this magazine is a form of media. It shall never ever give the idea that to be popular or pretty you have to be skinny, or that being "popular" is even important. Leave all that to shows like Beverly Hills 90210 or magazines like Seventeen, who are slowly but surely rotting the brains of teenagers everywhere. We shall never ever escape advertisements. I'm not just talking about billboards or commercials, turn on the TV and see Rosie O'Donell plugging some new movie or cool toy or the sinister companies sponsoring The Price Is Right. It's everywhere and its frightening.
