Intelligence
by Spiderwebs

They label me a "brainer"; they call me so smart
I'll admit, I get good marks, of which I'm proud
But good marks don't come without sacrifices and hard work
Do they think I'm born with this intelligence?
Of course not; I have to work for it
Doing my homework every night, I miss out on things I want to do,
And I put double the effort into everything
Sure, everyone has the "potential"
But if you don't apply your intelligence, it won't get you anywhere.
Every single one of us has the ability to be smart
You just have to work like a smart person, and you will become one.
