You had the bad taste to click on the link, so here it is -- a selection of some of my
Poetry!
First, here are some warnings for the faint of heart:
N
None of this stuff rhymes, except by accident. None of it's in iambic pentameter. No sonnets either. It's nearly all free verse (that means no rhymes, no meter, no real format. Ask an English major -- it's poetry for lazy poets). If you hate free verse, then this is your chance to vamoose.
N
There are some naughty words -- if you don't like naughty words, or if you're too young to see naughty words, go away. Don't come whining to me about it after you've had your precious sensibilities defiled.
N
This is hardly proper poetry. If you're an English teacher or literature professor, please go away. You bother me. And you'll despise my stuff. I'm doing you a favor, snotbag. And the same thing goes for you cowboy-poetry people. There is not a horse or a chuckwagon to be found within. Now git.
And if you're still here (you poor fools), you can click on the titles below. Thanks to the wonders of HTML, I wasn't able to get them formatted the way I wanted to, so I just centered everything. Besides, the words are the important thing, right? Right? It -- It ISN'T?! The format is more important to you?! Oh, MAN!
