::Shrine to Amiboshi and Suboshi::

Hello every one and welcome to my little shrine to the twins, Amiboshi and Suboshi. They too, are characters from Fushigi Yuugi. But they are not the good guys. They are the bad guys. Now you may be reading this at the moment and at the same time thinking, How peculiar. Why would a person ever want to build a shrine to these villans? Well put it this way, I am not building a shrine to honor their villanous side of them. I am building this shrine to honor their good and gentle side. One of my theories is that in every bad thing, there is always a good thing. Yes, It kinda has to do with the Yin/Yang thing. And the twins, If you really do think about it, have a good and gentle side to them. I do visit web pages and in one of the pages I visited,(I am not mentioning) said that Suboshi is a monster, or in other words, crazy. Well. I say Suboshi is not. Another thing that may be on your mind right now is Why do they deserve a shrine? Well, as most of you know, they have gone through a lot together, and they were still able to share that strong bond of love and friendship they had always have ever scince thay were orphaned. There love for each other was beyond human love. It was some other, strange, unexplainable kind of love. Most of you people think they are gay of something freakish like that because you have seen those pictures of them kissing and stuff like that.(It is mostly Suboshi who starts it) I guess Suboshi does this because it is his way of expressing love for his brother so he shows it through his kisses or stuff like that, but Amiboshi has his own way of expressing love for his twin. See? They are not gay.

Is everything clear now? I hope so. Now, let's get moving on. We still have a long way to go. We will first begin with their story.(spoiler alert!) Then we will have their own bio's accompanied by a few words I have to say about them. Then, their image gallery. And lastly, a few links that you can go visit that are about the twins.

Their story

Koutoku(Amiboshi) and Shunkaku(Suboshi) were born on August 26th(Virgo) in Tenryo,San'un Province, Koukouto. At that time, there was a great Civil war and the people there were all in danger. When the twins were about 10, the soldiers struck their village burning everything in sight. Many families were separated, or even worse, killed. Women were brutally raped then killed and children(only the obedient ones) were taken away as slaves. The twins' parents were killed right before their very eyes! They were orphaned. Do you know how a thing like this can affect you and your actions later on? That explains Amiboshi's strong hate for war and Suboshi's strong desire to kill and avenge.

Luckily, the twins survived th civil war and ever scince that day, Koutoku cared for his younger twin Shunkaku. And that is how their bond of love grows. You know how they say that twins share a link, well it is true. They too shared a link that enabled them to feel what the other was feeling. But their link was much stronger because of their immense love for each other. And so the years quickly flow by and the twins grow into handsome young men of 15. And there is when they find out they have symbols/characters or whatever you wish to call them on their right shoulders. They were marked with the Seiryuu(dragon) sign. Koutoku had the character "Ko" or high spirits on his shoulder and Shunkaku has "Kaku" or angle on his. They were one one of the Seishi(warriors) of the dragon!

Eventually, they were found by another Seiryuu Seishi(Nakago, that no good blonde Shogun) and they were made Seiryuu(dragon) Seishi. Their mission was to find Seiryuu no Miko, or Maiden of the Dragon, so that they could summon their god Seiryuu, get 3 wishes and destroy the Suzako(pheonix) warriors of Konan. And when Suzako no Miko arrives, Nakago begins to despair. And he begins to pray harder that Seiryuu no Miko would show up. Eventually she shows up. Her name is Yui Hongo. Nakago convinces her to become their Miko, and she easily does. Now Seiryuu and Suzako were pretty much even, Only Miaka(Suzako no Miko) has one more warrior to find, Chiriko-Sama(My favourite one!), but Seiryuu is way off. So Nakie-poo(Nakago) comes up with this dirty plan to ruin their summoning by sending Amiboshi, the gentle twin and the eldest to play the role of Chiriko(gasp!). And here is when all the trouble begins.

So Amiboshi is forced to go and ruin their summoning. He has this weapon, a flute. I know it sounds like a funny weapon, but it is a deadly weapon. All he has to do is just play a few high-pitched, shrill notes and he could kill you. (Wow!) Anyways, he plays his flute causing these bats to attack Miaka and Suzako Seishi. Then he plays it again to make them stop. Miaka thanks him for saving her, and that is when he says "Chiriko is my name." They see the Character on his foot(It is really a tatto or something like that.) And so he gains their trust and they become very close friends. Then when the summoning comes, he ruins it by playing his flute to drive them crazy and stuff. He would have killed them if it weren't for good little Chiriko who used a leaf and he created a whistle so the Amiboshi's music would louse its effect.

And It did louse effect. Amiboshi gets frightened and confused at the same time and he runs off thinking that he would get punished by Suzako. So he runs off untill he reached this river. He asks this guy to give him a boat so that he could cross but hte guy tells him that he could not because the tide was not high enough or something like that. So he has no other choice but to jump. But when he does, Miaka gets hold of his flute and she tells him to hold on. He lets go and he falls into thje river. Back in Kotouko, His younger brother Suboshi can't feel his brother anymore and he starts to cry. And Yui, Seiryuu no miko holds him and comforts him. Now Suboshi loves his brother more than anything. And he would do anything even kill for his brother. So Nakago uses the opportunity to mislead Suboshi. He tells him he should get even with Tamahome by killing his family. Suboshi is so upset that he does not reason nor he thinks twice about the major concequences his actions coulsd bring. He does it. Yes. He kills Tamahome's innocent family.

But here is the real surprise. Amiboshi is not dead! He is alive and living wiht this old couple that rescued him. He pretneds he lost his memory and he accepts to be their son "Kaika". But little does he know that his "death" would bring a lot of concequences. Like the death of Tamahom's family. Now Suzako and Seiryuu are on this quest to find the Shinzaho so that they could summon their gods. Suboshi becomes Yui's body guard and he begins to slowly fall deeply in love with her. There is a scene when he kisses her passionately. Yui is surprised because it reminds her of the time when she got sucked in by the book and was attacked by these soldiers who had the intention of raping her. So she is a little frightened by Suboshi's kiss.

Then Miaka gets lost, and Amiboshi who at the time is Kaika rescues her and brings his home. He falls in love with her and he wants to make Miaka his wife. But Miaka does not want to. She wants to go back to finding the Shinzaho thing to summon Suzako. But Kaika's stepmom wants Kaika to be married to Miaka so she puts this memory erasing broth into Miaka's soup. But she put a liitle too much making it an overdoze and Miaka falls unconscious. Stupid woman! Miaka could have died! So Amiboshi goes into her room takes off his shirt and goes on top of Miaka. (I don't see why does he have to take it off.) Then he starts giving Miaka some of his chi/character through his mouth.(Looks like he is kissing her if you ask me.)

Suboshi feels his brother's chi and tracks him down. Bad thing! Tomo gets there first and trapps Miaka in this illusion thing. He tries to make her louse virginity so she can't summon her god. Amiboshi can't help her because he is stuck in these vines. But he succedes in freeing himself and he begins to play his flute to break Tomo's charm. He eventually does and Tomo throws his sharp feather thingys and injures Amiboshi. Meanwhile Suboshi sees his brother getting attacked and he kills Tomo with the same deadly weapon he used to kill Tamahome's family, the ryuusesui. (Those yo- yo yhings he carries aroung his waist.) He embraces Amiboshi. He is glad to find his aniki alive. Amiboshi tells his brother to drink the memory erasing broth so that they could forget their past, and start a new life together. Suboshi takes a sip then he kisses his brother, transmitting all the fluids into his mouth. Amiboshi falls unconscious. Suboshi did this so that his brother would live happy with his new family. But he did not want to neglect his duties as Seiryuu sei, and besides, he was in love with Yui and he did not want ot forget her.

The story goes on and on untill finally, towards the end, after the summoning of Seiryuu, Suboshi dies. How? His ryuusesui went through him. He was in modern day Japan tracking down Miaka and Tamahome. He was about to kill him when suddenly the spirits of Tamahome's dead family hold him so that the ryuusesui would go through him. He finally confesses love to Yui and then he dies. Back to Amiboishi, he feels the pain his brother felt when the ryuusesui went through him and runs home crying. His step-parents are confused and beg him to tell them what happened. "I feel like I lost half myself. No, like my other self came back to me." Subohi's spirit came to Amiboshi to be with him forever. Now they would never be appart. And that is the sad story of Amiboshi and Suboshi.
