A Secret of the Land

Sometimes I see the ocean's hand,
writing upon the sand.
Or the trees whispering, in the night,
a secret of the land.

Whatever it may be,
or whatever you may see.
The earth holds a secret treasure,
somewhere, I believe.

Behind the willow's branches,
or somewhere out at sea;
The magic there is waiting for us,
if only you believe.

Whatever it may be,
or whatever we may see.
The Earth holds a secret treasure,
only for you and me.

The sun sets in the
deep, big sky.
And all I can think of
is the love of you and I.

If we never find our treasure,
or the secret it beholds.
Let us never forget our memories together,
as time grows old.
