Welcome to my art gallery comprised of pieces from college. I've put some of my favorite drawings from the most recent years up here for your enjoyment...most of these were drawn during "study breaks" or in the lounge of my old dorm, Ray Street....Don't worry---there's only a few, I know, but I just got a new scanner, so lots of stuff will be coming up soon! Come back often! I hope you like what you see, and if you want to, drop me a line and let
me know what you think! Thanks, and enjoy!

I hate to have to say that, but such are the times we live in...besides, I'm in law school---this is the type of stuff I'm trained to write...

Another of my favorite periods in American history is the American Revolutionary War. This time,
the subject of my sketch was George Washington, commander of the Continental Army. This piece is
one of those that I churn out on a whim, or while bored, or for some fun. Just a simple quick sketch,
nothing fancy, with a mechanical pen and some spare time.
One of the best movies of 1997 (in my humble opinion) was Starship Troopers . This was the
big screen adaptation to the classic work of science-fiction written by Robert A. Heinlein. I have
read most of his books, and this one has always been one of my favorites. Therefore it was almost
natural that the movie version would also quickly become one of my favorites (even if they did decide
to leave the jump suits out---and anyone who has read the book will know what I mean). This pencil
drawing is of the beautiful and talented actress Dina Meyer, who played the part of Dizzy Flores (one of the main characters) in the movie.

In 1997 my family and I took a vacation to Flordia, where we stopped at St. Augustine, the home of the oldest house in the United States. This scene, the original gates to the city is my first serious attempt at landscape drawing. It's just a pen and ink drawing.

This year saw my first serious attempt at colored pencil drawings.....I came across this picture, and decided to try my hand at rendering it with colored pencils, and here is the result. I know it's not much, but hey, it's my first try (you don't even want to know what the first non-serious colored drawings looked like...ugh). I loved the way this one turned out, so look for a lot more colored pencil drawings in the future!

I switched back to black and white graphite for this picture. If you want to see the steps I took to draw this (which I consider to be one of my better works) picture, click the thumbnail! This was started on February 7th, 2000 and finished tonight, February 25th, 2000.
I am interested in what you think, so please leave any and all comments,
questions, or suggestions in my GUESTBOOK!
Or drop me a line, via e-mail!!
