Remember When

Remember when we started talking, we'd talk into the night
We had so much to say then, we tried with all our might
To keep our eyes wide open, try not to fall asleep
Wanting the wonderful night to last, but still daylight did creep

Remember when we couldn't wait, to hurry up and dream
Knowing when tomorrow came, we'd be together again
We never did get weary, no not too tired to stay
Talking with each other, each night and every day

Remember when we realized, how time had gone so fast
It seemed we just got started, then it so quickly passed
We realized that we'd become, emotionally attached
And that we needed more time, before we could detach

Remember when you'd call me silly, then we would laugh and sing
We even made believe we danced, t'was such a funny thing
We'd share our inner feeling, along with dreams we had
It seems we shared the same thing, of which we where so glad

Remember when re ralized, that love had come our way
And bound us both together, on that sweet and special day
You told me how we somehow, took that unspoken vow
And somehow I'd become to you..your online wife now

Remember when we counted days, with much anticipation
Each morning was a letter, with much excitation
For soon we would be standing there, smiling at one another
Just so happy to be there, finally together

Remember when our eyes first met, on that momentous day
I knew when I would look in yours, that they would be that way
And when you arms went 'round me, it seemed as it should be
That I was meant to be with you, as you were meant for me

Remember when we took that drive, to see the mountain side
With it's bridges in the air, mountains showing off with pride
The mountain raods, and hairpin curves, on such a cloudy day
Made the ride exciting, down and around the way

Remember when we said goodbye, when time for me to go
I turned once more to look at you, and wanted you to know
That when you watched me leave, and waved from the large window
That there would be a time 'ere long, I'd be back here with you
