- Eight years Ministry Experience
- Presenting the unchanging Word of the Gospel in a unique way which entertains, but more importantly challenges people to greater devotion to God.

In the summer of 1991 David felt called to the mission field. There was only one problem - David had no idea how he could relate the Gospel to strangers. As a shy seventeen year old the only thing David had to offer was puppeteering. Of course, as God works, it just so happened that the summer missions team in Gatlingburg, TN needed a fifth male puppeteer for the summer of 1992. For six shows a day five days a week David stayed behind the protective barrier of a puppet stage telling others of the Love of God through the puppet he used - still to shy to come in contact with people face to face.
Working on the team with David was a young man by the name of Tim Matheny. Tim was a juggler who used his skills to gain a crowd in downtown Gatlingburg and tell them about Christ. Tim taught David how to juggle and that created a spark that eventually brought David out from backstage and face to face with audiences that were in need to hear about the Love of God.
In the next few years David added illusion, fire-eating, balloon sculpting, and even hammering nails into his sinuses. Why does he do it? " I want to grab people's attention to tell them about Christ. People tend to keep looking at an idiot who is putting a flaming torch in his mouth. If you earn the right to be heard you will be heard. Juggling is just a tool, if it took me doing a stupid little dance to gain people's attention for Christ, that is what I would do".
