    Greetings from the revolution. And happy new year of course. As of late I've been receiving a ton of email about MindRape and some feedback on the site. One thing I've decided is that I am going to rework the layout of the main page. I realized (after setting my res to 800 X 600) that the category listings (articles, images...) were not centered properly, so they'll have to change. I've decided, since I like their site so much, to use the same design as the Public Enemy website. Makes the shit a little more to navigate. But anyways, enuff with the symantecs (always wanted to use that wrrd)

    I've had a lot of mail comin at me - especially about the Public Enemy MP3's that we posted up here (see communique #3). sonicNet music news service mentioned us in their article, and the Gnu York Times has been in touch. But above all of that, I'm glad to hear from the real fans of MindRape. The following are a couple excerpts from some of the mails I've been gettin...

   As you can see, not everyone's a fan (and not everyone's literate either) but for the most part, the responses have been pretty positive towards the zine. Still have to register with most of the search engines - but that'll come in due time. Expect to see some more articles up there soon as well as some new pictures. It'll all be after the facelift though. Also, I'm gonna start compiling a list of companies that we shouldn't give our money too. I've been doing a little research and I was surprised at how many companies that I never suspected were guilty of foul play. Examples like Chiquita banana's union busting really shocked me, while the GAP's barely legal logging practices were no surprise. In any case, I'm gonna start up a list of companies that are engaged in immoral practices. If you know of any in particular (and have the proof to back it up) then mail me (mind_rape@excite.com) and I'll add em to the list. Anyways - latah...
