Interstellar
Imagine space like that,
like a dream you died in,
floating in front of you,
devoring, acidic, calm,
all at the same time.

Imagine yourself,
drifting through the elixir,
trying to remember why you're out there.
among the stars,
an Earthling,
changing nothing, cold in orbit,
tumbling through photons and soundwaves,
gliding to the edge,
black as destiny
and hiding her curves,
telling you nothing about where you're headed.

That infinite consciousness starts
to pretend after a while,
if you blink.
