Camp Fire

campfire

I was sitten by the camp fire light,
wishin I had a pen & some paper for this poem to write.

There's just a sprinkle of stars in the sky,
with the moon flyin so high.

You left me alone, to go gather wood for the fire,
so I sit here with my thoughts, going haywire.
Each day that passes by, I don't think I could love you more,
It never fails, each day I find more about you to adore.

You're a special man, this I always knew,
the same as.. life could be so good, if it was me and you.
Every dream I ever had, holds no comparison to reality,
all I needed was a friend & a lover with personality.

With all my soul and all my heart, I love you true,
I hope we have many more nights like this, between me & you!
