Gooberette
The little ones call her Essie,
Pretty as a picture, in a fancy prom dress,
Nanny just calls her "a mess",
But on this here old computer,
we just call her Gooberette!
Give her a basketball & she can shoot with the best.
She can be a tom boy, or a prissy young woman,
The older she gets, the more she's bloomin.
She is a unique young woman,
& that is a fact,
She used to hunt coon with her Grandpa,
and is sharp as a tack.
There is something I want to know,
& I haven't figured out just yet!
