"This Christmas,"
"This Christmas",
"This Christmas,"
"This Christmas,"
"This Christmas,"
I said,"would be different".
I wouldn't do like I'd done before.
I'd keep my heart and mind focused,
and keep Jesus as the one I adore.
I said, "would be different".
I'd not succumb to the merchant's delight.
I'd remember the reason for the season,
and strive hard to walk in the light.
I said "would be different".
I'd try to keep this in my mind fresh.
that love came down at Christmas,
and that love was God in the flesh.
I said,"would be different".
And I thank God for the gift that he gave.
That gift was his only beloved son.
If we'd just accept him, then we'd all be saved.
I said, "would be different".
and by the grace of God it is.
just remember the babe in the manager,
and remember your savior still lives.
