Instructions For Teardrop
     Materials used for Teardrop:
11" x 18" Plywood 1/2"
Paint - color of your choice
Elmers glue
32 2" Nails or 1 1/2" finishing nails
Suggested Color Patterns:
1st.   layer    White
2nd   layer    Lavendar
3rd.  layer     Lilac
4th.   layer    Purple           or use your own colors & paint

Tape pattern to plywood. Make small indent where nails will be
drilled. Drill holes all the way through plywood. Use the
smallest drill bit you can find. Nails must not slip through
holes, they must be tight.

Make all wraps counterclockwise.
1st. Layer:  Tie thread onto top of nail no. 1 and wrap Teardrop
design in the following order.
1-14  -  2-15  -  3-16  -  4-17   Continue this pattern until you
reach nail  20-1   After returning to nail no. 1 cut and tie off thread.
Push completed layer down evenly to bottom of board.

2nd. Layer.  Tie thread onto top of nail no. 1 and wrap second
layer in the following order:
1-13  -  2-14  -  3-15  -  4-16  Continue this pattern until you
reach nail 20-32  Cut thread 4" from nail no. 1 and tie off. Push
layer down 1/2" from bottom.

3rd. Layer:   Tie thread onto nail no. 1 and wrap 3rd. layer
in following order.
1-12  -  2-13  -  3-14  -  4-15  Continue this pattern until you
reach nail 22-1  Cut and tie off thread at nail no. 1 Push layer
down 1" from bottom.

4th. Layer:  Tie thread onto nail no. 1 Wrap 4th layer in the
following order.
1-11  -  2-12  -  3-14  -  4-14  Continue this pattern until you
reach nail 23-1  Cut and tie off thread at nail no. 1  Leave this
layer at the top of the nails.

Cut off all ends 1/8" from nail. Add a dab of glue to secure.
