Jack donned his glasses and the scene turned into a cosmic stage. Beautiful clouds flew through the sky above and a large blob hung above the bobbing heads. It too danced with the music, dripping in various directions but never actually coming apart.
Jack lowered his eyes from the sky and saw that he had wandered into the seemingly endless crowd. At this level the glasses caused smaller enhancements to the scene. Yellow ribbons and trails of fire, water or sparkle dust followed each dancer's hands. They spun curves and shapes and elegant forms to each other, moving on to new colours and textures as they danced through the crowd.
A couple of wide boys were trying to do a special move. Eventually they made the correct shapes in the air that formed a small red blob in front of them. The nearest punched it: it splashed, some debris flew off, and it resumed its former shape. Soon many were punching and kicking the blob and it started to turn green.
Jack put on some webbed gloves from his pocket. With a flurry of hands in the air he formed a nasty triangular needle and threw it at the green blob. On collision the blob pulsated for a while, as it was programmed to explode in time with the music. It wandered about the heads of the crowd looking dangerously close to coming apart. The people danced like crazy through the drum snare and as the music reached crescendo the blob exploded, sending a hundred little crystal balls into the air.
As the people cheered the rush they were feeling, each ball floated down to its destined weilder. Meanwhile, Jack had been picked up by the wide boys who thought that his use of hackers knowledge that allowed him to produce the special effect was an insult to the hard work they had done turning their blob from red to green.
Jack smiled to himself as he bobbed horizontally through the crowd, for the dancers exploded each of their balls into a party streamer. They all flew above the crowd, and the sky above melted into a cosmic journey, from sparkle-star nights to atmospheric nebuli.
His last thought as he hit the pavement was "hmm...nice boobies!".
"...but terrible virtual wig!".
