Obadiah Borton was born January 23, 1768 at Evesham, Burlington Co, New Jersey. He died before January 28, 1845.
He married Sarah Andrews in 1791. She was born December 6, 1722 and died July 9, 1877. She was the daughter of Isaac Andrews and Rebecca Evans.
Obadiah and Sarah had nine children, all born at Evesham, Burlington Co, New Jersey:

5. Esther D. Borton
6. Sarah Ann Borton
7. Isaac A. Borton
8. Asa Borton
9. Eber Borton
Bethuel, son of Samuel, said that all the sons of Obadiah and Sarah were captains of sea-going vessels. (Bay County Michigan History Book)
